Chicken Christmas Sweater

chicken

Look at what I found on Etsy today…a homemade crocheted Chicken Christmas Sweater! If you’ve been here before, then you know I have a small fascination with the things people come up with to crotchet. This is one I have never seen before! A Chicken Sweater? With a Christmas theme? Chickens need themed sweaters?!? Am I missing something here?

Now I tried to rationalize this in my mind as I sat and stared at it, but I couldn’t. Do chickens really get that cold? I live at the shore and know basically zero about chickens, but I have my doubts here. (If any of you know differently about this and would like to school me, please do!)  I look at this picture and picture someone ridiculously trying to “wrassle” their chicken into this while it squawks like it’s being killed for Sunday dinner.  Also,I notice this chicken in said sweater is on a table in the house. Is this normal chicken owning behavior?? People let chickens roam free in their homes? They’re not potty trained!!!  If so, why does the chicken even need a sweater? It’s inside where it’s warm, right? Sigh. I don’t get any of this!!

I bet you’re wondering what the top looks like, aren’t you? Well, here you go:

chicken2Apparently it snaps nicely around the chicken’s body for easy on, easy off.

If you’re in the market for a Chicken Christmas Sweater, then hustle on over to Etsy and snap this up because there’s only one in stock.  It retails for $17, which I guess is a good deal. (Truthfully, I have no idea what a Chicken Sweater should cost!)

Maybe this is something someone would like or find useful, but I’d be 100% lying if I said I fit into that category of people(or knew anyone who did), therefore…

Chicken Christmas Sweater…That’s Shitsy!

Posh Puppy Purses

16.1n011.dog--300x300

Attention tiny dog owners!!!If you have been so gauche as to actually walk your little smooshy-face on a leash on the mean streets of Manhattan, then you are sooooo out of the loop. If you don’t want your high class friends to drop you like yesterday’s news, then you need the Puppy Purse! You know Sir Smooshy-Face is far too good to let his little tootsies actually touch the pavement where the rest of the heathens walk! Perish the thought, you awful dog owner you! If you’re not carrying  in him in this contraption, or God forbid carrying him in a designer tote bag (which is so last year!) then the rich, snooty dog police may have to give you a citation and seize that little pooch from the life of horror it obviously has been enduring in your care!

Doesn’t he look comfortable? (Um, no he does not!) Well he should be comfortable while he is dangled precariously from that leather strapped harness giving his legs nowhere to go but to float freely in the air as you stroll down Park Avenue. Just make sure your dog is 6 pounds or under, because otherwise it won’t work out. Does that even really need to be said? Come on now, everyone knows the ultra rich only own dogs that small. You can’t possible have a 7 pound dog in your penthouse apartment! It goes against the rules of life, don’t you know!

If you’re looking to transport your own Sir Smoooshy-Face in the most glamorous way possible, you are too late to get one at the PetCo on the Upper West Side. They sold out like hotcakes. (I’m having a hard even picturing the ultra rich ever setting foot in a PetCo!) Fret not though, my snobby friends, because you can browse through a vast selection of Puppy Purses at BitchNewYork.com! Prices range from $66 – $100.00.  Anyone whose anyone buys the $100 Pink Biker Baby Puppy Purse, of course!

I’d keep going, but I must go walk my two giant mastiffs on their leashes now. If they only knew what a low rent owner they really had, huh? Sigh, such white trash we are in this house.

Seaside Heights Chic

il_570xN.404278813_4ur6

Look at what I found on Etsy today…some “Sexy Cut-Up Leggings” aka Seaside Heights Chic …just in time for your summer visit to the boardwalk!

I am fortunate enough to live at the beautiful Jersey Shore. In fact, I live very close to Seaside Heights. Now most of you know of it from “The Jersey Shore” which did a fantastic job of incorrectly depicting what it’s like here. Granted, the Seaside Boardwalk has always been a great place to people watch, but thanks to that show, even bigger droves of morons have found their way here. Those droves go out of their way to live up to the stereotype that all of us that actually live here hate. The only place in Ocean County that you can see complete idiocy is up on those boards, done by people who come down for vacation. The locals are NOTHING like that.

That being said, I did find some leggings for you to wear up on the boardwalk if you’d like to fit in with the other attention seeking jackasses.

Here’s what the seller had to say about them:

WARNING CUT UP AND SHREDDED LEGGINGS / TIGHTS : Upon stepping into The Wild Painted leggings I immediately feel more confident, sexy and powerful. I am giving you this warning because I believe you will feel the same way. I love clothes that feel good against my skin, accentuate my shape and just feel good to wear.

OK,YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ,PLEASE WEAR THE WILD WITH CAUTION
The Wild leggings are highly addictive by nature and wearing them is known to be extremely habit forming. Due to the amount of attention and compliments you will receive when wearing The Wild, I must inform you that, I can be held responsible for your desire to wear you’re leggings constantly, feel amazing and even start a collection of statement leg wear from The Wild.

LIKE THE BEAST OF THE WILD:
These Leggings cannot be tamed. Every pair of The Wild leggings is made to order and even though it is the same species no two pairs will look exactly alike (that just the nature of the Beast a.k.a 4TheWild Leggings).

I created the wild Leggings to show off a women’s curves size small -3x, with styles that take you from day to night.

A few quick things:

*If you are a 3X, you probably shouldn’t be wearing these…although on the boardwalk, these would be a big hit with the 3x crowd.

*If you do wear them, PLEASE PLEASE wear them on a day when the tanning index is a 10. Imagine how hot your naturally patterned legs will look at night when you go out in that ill fitting mini-dress you packed? You will turn heads girl, trust me.

So, if you’ve got Seaside Heights in your plans this summer, and you want to let us all know that you 100% do not live here, head on over to Etsy, and snag yourself a pair of these “sexy” leggings for a mere $42.00! Not for nothing, but $42.00 seems kind of steep for that little material. It must be the workmanship you’re paying for.

Hopefully I will see you strutting your stuff on the boardwalk. I’ll be the one on the bench cracking up as you saunter on by.

Afternoon Delight…Or Maybe Not.

afternoon28n-1-web

It’s Summer!!! I’m back and ready to resume blogging…and I think I found a real winner to kick off summer! Let me introduce you to these two brilliant exhibitionists from Philadelphia, PA. (Yayyyy! They’re not from NJ!)

What had happened was…apparently they couldn’t wait until they got home to be overcome with lust (or whatever), so they decided to have at it, right there in Naylor’s Run Park in Upper Darby.  You might think they ducked behind a tree (you know, like a big, fat 50 year old Oak tree) or behind a bush, but nope! Instead they decided to go to town right out in the open, over the bench on the first base line of the baseball field , in broad daylight at 4pm. Hopefully no poor kids had to be scarred by witnessing that, but I’ll tell you who did happen to stumble upon it…the 25 BIKE COPS who were out on a training ride. That’s right…they got arrested by 25 police officers! TWENTY.FIVE.  That is GREAT!!! They had their own riot squad! You know every single one of those officers was totally howling on the inside…and likely all wanted to stick a bar of soap in their eyes. I hope that $30,000 bail they had to post was worth it! (I highly doubt it was!)

Aside from the obvious reasons this amuses/disgusts me, I’d be lying if I didn’t say that they are out of their minds for an additional reason. Do you know how friggin hot it has been here lately??? I’m talking like 100* heat index and full humidity!! I go out to get the mail and get annoyed at how sweaty I am. Who wants to be having some afternoon delight outside in that weather?!? Plus she’s got some lily white skin there. I doubt she took the time to put some sun block on her back. (Read the article if you want to know what that comment meant.)  They should be happy that 25 bike cops came rolling up. These two had a good shot of dying of heat stroke or dehydration before they were done!

I think I hit a real home run with my first post of the summer (Sorry. Had to!), but if you’d like to read the actual news article, then here it is courtesy of the New York Daily News. The quotes are actually quite hysterical!

Just another entry towards my “What Had Happened Was” Story of the Year! I’ve got 6 months to see if anyone can top getting arrested by 25 officers. I have faith in the morons of America that it can be beat!

Happy Summer everyone!!! See you soon!!!

The Beer Belly

thebeerbellya__31007_zoom

Look at what I found on Pinterest today…The Beer Belly! Normally I make fun of things on my blog, but not on this post!!!  This, my friends, is pure genius!

Here’s what the company Lazybone has to say about it. (Bear in mind that this company is out of the UK, so they use their own lingo here)

The Beer Belly is named more for its look than its apparent use. Yes, you can use it to drink beer or any other beverage from, however it sits where you would expect any beer swilling blokes belly might be, a bit like a rucksack but instead it sits on your front not your back.

Now your beer starts off on your belly and ends up in your belly. It’s a sort of stealth beer drinking device. Perfect if you don’t want to drink the local grog, just take your own.

Now you can drink what you want, when you want, where you want, with no hassles and for less money! What more could you ask for—now you can drink your favourite beverage at the movies, the footie match, on the plane, you decide.

The Beer Belly, the stealth beverage system that makes it easy to sneak a drink where ever you want!

  • It holds over 4 pints, that’s more than a six pack.
  • Your drink is held in place in an insulated very comfortable sling under your clothes looking just like a real home grown beer belly.
  • One size fits most, up to a 40 inch waist and up to 6’8” tall (I personally think they could sell even more if they go up a few waist sizes! Go Big or Go Home!!)
  • You can drink from the tube/nozzle or you can pour directly from the tube
  • Holds hot or cold drinks
  • Made of top quality materials and construction

I defy you to tell me of a beer drinking man who wouldn’t LOVE this product!! You can take it anywhere, and it fits over a 6-pack!! Unlike women who freak if their stomach is sticking out, men just don’t give a rat’s ass. In fact, they are proud of their beer guts! I know guys that have named their beer guts! If they can secretly drink beer under the radar, the “beer belly” sticking out under their shirt is like a non-entity. This is WAY BETTER than ‘The Camel” you can buy here in the United States that straps around your back!

My husband totally could have (and would have) used this the other day when we went to see some March Madness games. We didn’t even give it a thought that beer wouldn’t be sold at that event, thanks to NCAA rules, so we did almost a full lap around the arena before we had to face reality and gave up. If my husband had owned “The Beer Belly”, I wouldn’t have had to hear him say again and again “I can’t believe there’s no beer!”  I can’t believe I’m sitting here watching a game without a beer in my hand!” “This is ridiculous! Me without a beer!!”  He could have just pulled the nozzle out of his shirt and drank away happily and undetected. I seriously may have to invest! (I’m actually serious about that!)

The Beer Belly retails for $44.95, and if you ask me, it’s worth every penny.

There’s no way I’m calling this one “Unpinteresting!” In fact, it may be one of the most “Pinteresting” things I’ve seen in a quite a while!

I salute you Lazybone on this product…it’s 100% gold!

Grass Armchair

5d4df025663b5124be41308837bd9ceb

Look at what I found on Pinterest today…a build your own Grass Armchair!

Are you sick and tired of hauling your outdoor furniture out season after season? What about when a big storm, like Hurricane Sandy is coming, and you have to hustle to get all of your outdoor furniture put away? Well, when the weather man gives you that “secure your outdoor furniture” warning, you can laugh at him and rest easy knowing that’s one less chore for you to do…because this isn’t going anywhere when the winds start to howl!

With this fine kit, all you have to do is assemble the pre-cut cardboard pieces, fill the open crevices with dirt, sprinkle some grass seed on top, and watch it grow! It’s the Chia Pet of outdoor furniture, my friends!

Doesn’t that look like the mecca of comfort? Although, I would have to say that mowing it is likely a huge pain in the ass.

I do advise not sitting on it to read your morning paper, as it is likely to be a little dewy…and perhaps you shouldn’t wear white when you sit on it either. Grass stains are kind of tough to get out.

If you’re all about the “going green” thing, and have no interest in ever rearranging your outdoor furniture, then start scouring the internet and finding a spot in the yard! It retails for between $115 and $150.00, and there are a variety of sites touting it’s environmentally friendly awesomeness.

Grass Armchair…While I am pretty amused by you…I still must dub thee Unpinteresting.
